The day is practical in nature and is suitable for students who wish to learn basic techniques in order to help friends and family.

It is also designed to be of use to those working in the health care professions, who want to be able to incorporate simple massage movements into their practice.

Tuition is informal, friendly and relaxed, and participants will take away with them simple but effective massage techniques. They will also have been given  the opportunity to discuss the uses and effects of massage, and its contra-indications.

The day is an ideal starting point for those considering massage as a professional career.

Students need to bring refreshments and  two large towels

After the 5 hour course students will have an opportunity to provide and experience an invigorating back massage.
