  • ONE-DAY MASSAGE COURSE AND PAMPER DAY

    (Saturday 10 am to 4.30 pm)

    This one day introductory course enables individuals and couples who wish to learn the basics of massage to discover the therapeutic effects and benefits of a massage treatment.

    This course is the foundation course for the student who wishes to pursue specialist areas of massage and holistic therapies. It gives the student all the underpinning practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to embark with confidence on other areas of massage therapy

    REFLEXOLOGY
     
    (lTEC DIPLOMA)

    This course is designed to qualify the student in Reflexology. Reflexology uses pressure on the feet to promote good health.  It releases tension, relieves stress and pain, improves nerve and blood supply and restores the natural balance of your body.

    (Pre-requisite Anatomy & Physiology,  Professional Conduct & Business Awareness) (75hrs fortnightly lessons)

    REFLEXOLOGY with ANATOMY & PHYSIOLOGY
    (lTEC DIPLOMAS)

    This course is for students who would like to benefit from a discount when registering for Reflexology and Anatomy and Physiology (A&P) at the same time.

    It is important to note that it is our policy not to allow students to join a Reflexology class until the have attended at least three months of an A&P course, This is because it is difficult for students without any knowledge of A&P to appreciate the relevance of Reflexology pressure points and referral areas etc. and this can disrupt Reflexology classes.

    SPORTS MASSAGE

    ITEC INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
    (ITEC DIPLOMA)

    Indian head massage is a technique of manipulating soft tissues in the shoulders and scalp. The therapist uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head and neck area.  Includes theory and practical with a 2 hour exam. A typical massage lasts about 20 minutes. ( 6 Saturdays with case studies)

    ON-SITE MASSAGE (STRESS MANAGEMENT)
    (lTEC DIPLOMA)

    This course is designed to qualify the student to go into a work environment provide on-site massage and manage stress for office personnel and deal on a one-to-one basis, using Office Massage and different techniques in Stress Management. (50 hrs)

    DIPLOMA IN NAIL TECHNOLOGY

    (ITEC DIPLOMA Level 3)
    The candidate will study the theory of all treatments as well as the anatomy of the nail. Contraindications and recognition of skin diseases and disorders are also a vital part of their training as well as the underpinning knowledge and skills required to successfully perform the treatments: Manicure & Pedicure and Nail Technology.

    CERTIFICATE IN COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES
      
    (lTEC CERTIFICATE)
    A new Level 2 course The main aim of the course is to enable candidates to provide treatments for the purposes of relaxation and the relief of stress in order to encourage general health and wellbeing at level 2 under supervision. Candidates will study the theory, history and concept of Complementary Therapy treatments as well as anatomy and physiology of arm and hand, lower leg and foot, and how to implement basic therapy treatments. The underpinning knowledge and skills Level 2 treatments under supervision are also required.

    This course is designed to enable the student to become qualified in Aromatherapy, the art of massage with essential oils. Students will learn how to give their clients a safe, beneficial and professional aromatherapy treatment.(80 hrs)
