Indian head massage is a technique of manipulating soft tissues in the shoulders and scalp. The therapist uses a range of different massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate the head and neck area. Includes theory and practical with a 2 hour exam. A typical massage lasts about 20 minutes. ( 6 Saturdays with case studies)

CERTIFICATE IN COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES
(lTEC CERTIFICATE)
The main aim of the course is to enable candidates to provide treatments for the purposes of relaxation and the relief of stress in order to encourage general health and wellbeing at level 2 under supervision. Candidates will study the theory, history and concept of Complementary Therapy treatments as well as anatomy and physiology of arm and hand, lower leg and foot, and how to implement basic therapy treatments. The underpinning knowledge and skills Level 2 treatments under supervision are also required.
