  • ENTRY REQUIREMENTS  16 years or older 
    If under 30, 5 GCSE O Levels, over 30 entry through interview 
    ITEC Specialist Courses require  ITEC APM Diploma.

    UK LOCATION

    Courses will take place at the Maidstone Community Support Centre,
    39 - 48 Marsham Street , Maidstone , ME14 1HH

    1 mile from M20 Junction 6
    and within walking distance of Maidstone East Railway station.

    TIME

    Courses will be from 10 to 34  weeks and be scheduled occasionaly during the day (subject to demand) , normally  19:00-21:.30 (21/2 hours per week). plus projects and home study.. Special  group courses can be arranged for 1 day/week for 10 weeks. Subject to demand. 

     

    TUTORS Hannah Beames, has been a practising aromatherapist and an ITEC* tutor since 1992. Hannah, who is qualified in ITEC Anatomy, Physiology and Massage, Aromatherapy,  and has a Cert. Ed. in teaching, has had consistent success with her candidates, over 400 have qualified, many of whom have achieved credits and distinctions on the ITEC diploma courses. 

    Alan Chell,  has been a practising masseur since 1995 and has been working in the training industry since 1990, as an IT specialist. Alan, who is qualified in ITEC Anatomy, Physiology and Massage, and Aromatherapy, has  a Cert. Ed, D32/33/34 C and G Training and Development Diplomas, will assist in teaching and producing multimedia training material. 


    Karen Phipps, a dedicated practising reflexologist since 1997 who is also qualified in Anatomy Physiology and Massage, Indian Head Massage and Thermo Auricular Therapy. In 1994, after ten years as a PA and Bookkeeper and ventures into Interior Landscaping and floral displays, Karen decided her heart was in Holistic Therapies. Since then she has built up her own practice and is now enjoying passing on her talents and experience to our students. Karen has excellent rapport with students and is achieving excellent results.

    EQUIPMENT  The school will provide massage couches and trolleys for practical sessions. Candidates are required to have their own professional clothing, couch covers, towels, massage and/or essential oils. 
    INSURANCE Candidates will be required to have insurance cover, available through ITEC Professionals. 
    TREATMENTS  The school will offer treatments in Complementary Therapy and will encourage students to bring their case studies to practical classes. A client will be required by each student for their practical examination.
